Sailboat Curtain Rods

Ubuntu Solution USB access to virtual machines (VMware, VirtualBox ...) on Windows 7 right

If you have problems using your USB's in the machines virtualized with VMware and VirtualBox (Windows or Linux) on a computer with AMD processor and running Windows (tested with W7) this is the solution.

  • Open the Windows registry in Start Menu> "search"> regedit
  • In the registry editor go to KEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \\ System \\ CurrentControlSet \\ Control \\ Class \\ {36FC9E60-C465-11CF-8056-444553540000}.
  • In the right pane, if UpperFilters entry must be deleted.
  • Then go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \\ System \\ CurrentControlSet \\ Services \\.
  • Delete folder (string) usbfilter.
  • Delete:% system32% \\ drivers \\ usbfilter.sys. (I recommend renaming, adding. "Old" at the end of the name but it's optional, so prevention)
  • Restart.
remember to be used at your own risk and advise point on paper everything you put in chains for the record to be deleted.
