This tutorial is intended for all those with a PSP with C ustomer F irmware (hacked) in any of the following versions:
- 3.52 M33-4
- M33 5.00 5.50
- GEN-A
- 5.50 GEN-B
- 5.50 GEN-B2
- Prior to 3.52 M33-4 (in which case you should upgrade to reach this version)
- versions between 3.52 and 5.00 M33-4 M33 (But you would have to check this if used for your particular version upgrade to 5.00 M33 CF)
The process is long but simple.
is VERY IMPORTANT that you do not saltéis no "step", ie you not saltéis any updates. Since the consequences suppose that you know: Getting a expensive "brick" (console useless).
attached in the folder you will find all necessary updates. Begin with the 5.00 M33 (assuming you have a version equal or superior to 3.52m33-4)
For each of the updates:
- 'll get a folder called UPDATE (or similar). Copy this folder to your MS, in the GAME folder. Look at the picture to view more detailed.
- on your PSP, give the update X. XX YXX
- Apreta X.
- In the new window, give Start and follow the instructions. It is important to have the battery charged and connected to the current PSP.
- Once installed, give X to shut down the PSP. When you turn, you may be out a blue screen error, give O and reboot.
- your PSP already have installed the new version.
is advisable to have a Memory Stick formatted and paste in the root directory structure is inside the compressed folder (to avoid forgetting or simply for convenience), and repeat this with each update. However not can keep your files, being faithful to the structure that is in the compressed folder.
Another important thing is that with the latest update 5.50 GEN-D3 should be especially cautious with both.
- (If you do not reformat the card to copy the files:) When you copy the files, keep in mind that there are two, one of them goes to the root folder.
- D rom the PSP game menu. Press X and when loaded, press Enter and Install Flash CFW 5.50 GEN-D3 . Do not push another option or you can install the official firmware from Sony!
It is worth remembering each of the updates has a readme file that I recommend to read for no mess up and commit irreparable damage, and of course, this blog is not responsible for any problems arising from using these programs, remember that you are not Sony officials are to be used at your own risk. This whole process has been tested by me personally.
